Dandelion-Honey


Ingredients:

  • 2 - 3 hands full of freshly picked dandelion flowers
  • 1 l water
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 kg granulated sugar
  • glasses to fill up and store the dandelion honey

Spread the freshly picked dandelion flowers on a tablet and let them rest outdoors overnight, so that any small beetle can leave the flowers.

 

Bring 1 liter of water in a pot to boil and let the dandelion flowers simmer in a sieve in the water for 15 minutes.

 

Then strain and squeeze the flowers well.




Caramelize the granulated sugar with the freshly squeezed juice of 2 lemons in a heated pot.

 

Then add the liquid from the dandelion flowers, stir and let simmer for so long until the desired consistency is achieved.

 

Finally fill the still hot liquid in glasses.
