Venetian Rice with Peas (Risi e Bisi)


Erbsenreis (Risi Bisi)

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 measuring cup of rice (125 ml)
  • 3/4 measuring cup of water (375 ml)
  • peas (fresh or deep-frozen)
  • 1 tbsp. vegan butter (e.g. Aslan)
  • salt

Put water and rice with a little salt in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until the water has evaporated. Stir regularly!

 

Just before the rice is finished add the peas.

 

Refine with vegan butter and stir.
